1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Trustora, a user agrees to follow these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Trust and Safety Policy and any additional rules displayed for a particular feature. A person who does not agree should not create an account or submit content.
2. Account eligibility and accurate information
Users must provide accurate registration information, maintain a valid email address and use the service only where legally permitted. A person must not impersonate another individual, organisation or business.
3. Account security
Account holders are responsible for protecting passwords, recovery codes and authentication devices. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported promptly, and shared credentials should not be used to bypass account or team permissions.
4. Genuine reviews
Reviews should reflect a genuine interaction with the named company. Users must not submit purchased, fabricated, coordinated, duplicate or retaliatory reviews, or manipulate ratings on behalf of a company, competitor or third party.
5. Complaints and supporting evidence
Complaint information and evidence must be relevant, lawful and submitted honestly. Users should remove unnecessary private information and must not upload malicious files, forged documents or material they are not authorised to share.
6. Business profiles and company claims
A person claiming, managing or verifying a company profile must have authority to represent that company. Business users must provide genuine supporting information and must not misuse administrative access to silence legitimate customer criticism.
7. Business responses
Public business responses should remain professional, relevant and respectful. They must not expose customer information, threaten reviewers, make unlawful claims or encourage users to remove genuine feedback in exchange for benefits.
8. Trustora Scores, rankings and comparisons
Scores, rankings, labels, comparisons and analytics are generated from available platform records and configured calculation methods. They are indicators, not guarantees of future performance, legal compliance, solvency, suitability or transaction safety.
9. Unreviewed companies
A company without approved review data may be displayed as Unreviewed or Not rated. This status does not state that the company has a good or poor reputation; it means that Trustora does not yet have enough approved platform feedback to calculate a public reputation result.
10. Prohibited conduct
Users must not attempt unauthorised access, credential attacks, scraping that overloads the platform, malware distribution, evidence tampering, spam, harassment, score manipulation, security testing without permission or any unlawful use of Trustora.
11. Intellectual property
Trustora software, branding, layout, documentation and original platform materials remain subject to the applicable ownership and licence terms. Users retain responsibility for content they submit and grant the platform the permissions reasonably needed to store, display, moderate and process that content.
12. Moderation and enforcement
Trustora may investigate content, request information, restrict visibility, hide or restore reviews, apply account restrictions, suspend access or permanently ban accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce platform rules and protect users.
13. Appeals and dispute processes
Available reporting, business-dispute and enforcement appeal processes should be used honestly. Submitting an appeal or dispute does not automatically remove content or reverse an account action.
14. Third-party services and links
Trustora may link to company websites or use hosting, email, analytics, payment or other third-party services. Trustora does not control every third-party service and is not responsible for external content or transactions.
15. Service changes and availability
Features, eligibility rules and calculation methods may change. Maintenance, hosting failures, security events or circumstances outside the operator’s control may interrupt service availability.
16. Limitation of reliance
Users should conduct independent checks before making financial, legal, employment, procurement or purchasing decisions. Trustora content is not professional advice and should not be the sole basis for a significant decision.
17. Suspension and termination
An account may be restricted or terminated for material or repeated violations. The user may stop using the service and, where supported, request account anonymisation through the Privacy Centre.
18. Governing terms and legal review
Before commercial deployment, these terms should state the operator’s legal identity, governing law, dispute process and contact details. They should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel for the markets in which Trustora is offered.
These terms are a software-product template. The marketplace buyer or platform operator must adapt them to its business, hosting arrangements and applicable laws before inviting public users.
